Thanks for the comment! I never did consider whether Zero actually enjoyed the fight or not, but it's an interesting point. Zero was after all corrected as a reploid of destruction, but given his recent role as an antihero burdened with guilt of his past, I doubt he finds much pride in his bloody work.
Nonetheless, he'll continue to lend his strength for those he believes in and do his duty-- with or without relish.
Nah you didn't need to draw him larger. It just looks like Zero is a little far away from him, that's all. It's gotta be the surroundings. Even if you drew Omega larger, it would still look like Zero's far away because of the scenery.
Absolutely amazing. I really love how this looked, although if there was anything to be picky about, I think it's the line arount his chin. (although, he is technically a robot) I really love this game ans I wish there was a way to fight the full size version. A remake on a different platform would be nice, but for now this is the best of the Zero series.
Agreed. I definitely thought this battle was epic. They should make another MMZ series-- though I understand they did wrap it up; I at least want the MMZ/MMX styled game play starring Zero in some form.
Thanks for the comment and critique. I see what you mean there about the chin. I always found it somewhat awkward when drawing characters from a perspective underneath the chin. I'm not sure how to portray it properly and in Zero's case, I'm not sure whether the area underneath the chin is exposed or covered by his head-encasing helmet. Who knows?
Yeah. Also, if MMX6 had not been released, the original X would've been the boss in the first game. But some people decided to make MMX6 without the creator's approval. The story could've lasted longer...(but then again, we might not have had Omega if that was the case)
Well, Zero was alive and rebuilt during an incident with a virus called Nightmare, which turns Reploids into Mavericks. The game focuses more on Reploid rescue, but overall the game gets a mixed score of around 5-7
Hmm, I seem to recall that they actually wanted Omega to be really freaking fast and agile, but the 2d nature of the game force them to make him a big slow boss, and his Dark Elf was suppose to be even faster, again 2d screwed it, so this picture is more like the original concept then the actually game
Why does everyone draw Omega as a fusion of X and Zero? When I played MMZ3, I remember seeing nothing of the sort. There was silver Omega, gold Omega, and deep red Omega (ie model OX), but never did I see a hint of blue anywhere. Did I miss something?
My God, that's good! I'm a huge MMZ fan, and that fight versus Omega was SWEET. I just hate his final form.
...ESPECIALLY in Megaman ZX. *HARD HARD HARD*.
But, hell yes, I love it! I do agree with you on Omega needing to be bigger, but it could be written off as perspective - that Zero's just waaaay far away from Omega, and very near the "camera"? That's how I'm taking it anyway
